At Sygnite, we recognize that we have a role to play within our community. We strive to make the world around us better through our dedication and service. Every year, we work to develop new ideas to solve problems and help our communities thrive.

Sygnite care initiative is aimed at reaching out and touching the lives of children/people in need. The core values of this initiate are “care, respect, integrity, sustainability, and accountability”, these five elements drive and guide all the operations of this initiative.

We partnered with the Nigerian Port Authority to empower and improve socio-economic state of communities within Ekiti State by equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to engage in income generating initiatives. They were also provided with the necessary equipment required to get started such as Gasoline Water Pumps for Irrigation (100 units), Sewing Machines (100 units), Car Diagnostic Scanners (60Units) and Grinding Mill. This project was targeted at young people and women across 4 communities in Ekiti State; Ado, Iddo, Ikere & Omuo.

In our endeavour to support education for children within our community, we conducted our feasibility study at Itedo Community Nursery & Primary School and discovered the pupils lacked adequate educational amenities especially chairs and desks. After this feasibility study, we decided to make a difference by providing the required amenities, a total of 300 pieces of chairs and desks were provided for the students alongside 2 fireproof cabinets for the teachers.

We made a visit to to the school and noticed the untidy state of the premises, that did not sit right with us so we took it upon ourselves to help by cutting the grasses and cleaning up the enviroment. There was an heavy downpour on the day set out to carry out this activity, however the team was unrelenting in the pursuit of creating a conducive learning environment for the children. An estimate of 5 hours was dedicated to this task.

As a company, we continue to collaborate with schools on programs that reflect our values and commitment to community educational development. A career talk was organized for the students of Ilasan Primary School to impact positive values and good qualities in the various career paths because we believe every child deserves a bright future. The Sygnite team was divided into 8 groups to cover all the classes, an estimate of about 300 students. The career talk was accompanied with fun activities and refreshments.

During the festive season, we made a visit to the Lagos State Motherless Baby Home to donate essential supplies such as food items, educational materials, clothes, shoes and other basic items. Christmas is known to be a season love and giving, this was our way of extending love and care to the kids.
